FUPO + new shoot Finally, me and Wanda did a photoshoot! We've always talked about doing some shoots together but we never had the chance. She's just an awesome photographer and friend ♥ Oh, and Tsuki was our assistant, as well as Zent, who held the umbrella to protect :devwanda-chi:'s camera xD Story behind this outfit: last saturday was FUPO (Feitos Um Para o Outro), a portuguese cosplay gathering/meeting. I wanted to go but my new costume wasn't ready yet, so I decided to cosplay as Sheryl but with some clothes I had at home - a 'cream' colored blouse (I simply love it, it's really baggy and comfortable <3 I bought it at <i>H&M</i> for me and my mom, since it fits both of us) and some jeans (I do know that Sheryl is always showing off her legs, but I it was a bit cold for that - though it ended up being kind of hot, despite the rain and clouds). Update #4 Do you remember the costume I mentioned on the previous post? I've decided not to do it, at least for now, because it is indeed too hard for me at this point and I don't want to order one from eBay. In a related note, I have decided what cosplay project I want to finish first and I will begin working on it as soon as I finish my Rei costume. I'm planning to do a secret cosplay with Sophie as well, and there's another costume that I want to do, to group up with her and our friend Vânia. Since I'm on vacation, I have a lot of free time, so I also want to do some shoots ASAP. Hope I can manage all of this! In September, there's two events, but I think I'll only attend Anipop Kyuu-ti. I'll try to go on the 3 days and with different costumes to each day. And I want to find a friend I made on MAL at the event ♥ Plus, I will be doing a shoot with my friend Lilax; since she's from Porto, it's hard for us to see each other. P.S. Update #3 There's a huge doubt on my mind. I've been wanting to do this costume for a long time now, ever since I set my eyes on that girl's outfit. The costume isn't the hardest thing in the world, but it is complicated. At least for me it is. I don't know if I should go ahead and do the costume or not. And there are some at eBay but I don't know if I should buy one of them. I really want to do it by myself... But I'm afraid I won't be able to finish it... Should I buy fabrics and try to do it, possibly wasting money and time, or should I just go ahead and buy one?

domingo, 19 de junho de 2011 // 0 Comentários  Cosplay Plans secret cosplay #3 at 100% (completed!!) secret cosplay #4 cosplay at 11% secret cosplay #6 at 40% secret cosplay #7 at 98% (almost done!)Update #1 I have been workin' on my cosplay for Anipop Matsuri (July 9th, just five days after my b-day ^^) but it's a little on hiatus right now, since I have exams by the end of this month - Portuguese on the 20th and Math on the 27th. It was a secret cosplay but most people already know what it is, so I might as well just confirm it: it's Rei Miyamoto, from Highschool of the Dead. She's been on my list ever since I began watching the series and I'm finally cosplaying her^^ I will be joined by my friend Sugiura, who will be cosplaying as Takashi Komuro. If anyone else (pt cosplayers, that is) wants to join us, feel free to do so! We would love to have an H.O.T.D. group ♥ This week I'm gonna do a shoot with Sophie and Rafael, with one of my secret cosplays. I've been wanting to do this version for ages and I finally have the time! I'm really looking forward to this photoshoot!! And I'm waiting to do three other shoots, with my Sheryl Nome and Moka Akashiya costumes and also with another of my secret cosplays. Besides these costumes, I have also decided what my next cosplay is, after Rei's. I have only told what it was to Moony, yet. But I'm looking forward to begin working on it!!
